In short

“Holy Scripture for Kids” needs no account, has no ads and no tracking, and sends no data to us. Everything the app remembers stays on this device. This policy is written for parents and guardians.

Who is responsible

Mignuti Media, Eduard Ditler, Pfarrer-Mengesstr. 5, 56112 Lahnstein, Germany. Email: media@mignuti.com

What the app stores on the device

Which stories have been read, which story was open last, text size, appearance (day, night, automatic), the chosen voice and language, and whether recordings have been bought. This stays in the app’s storage (or the browser storage of the web app) and is never sent anywhere. Under “For parents” you can delete everything on this device; uninstalling the app deletes it too.

Children

We do not collect personal data from children (Art. 8 GDPR, COPPA). The app has no chat, profile or sharing features. Everything that costs money, changes settings or leads out of the app sits behind a parental gate.

No tracking, no ads

The app uses no cookies, no analytics, no advertising networks and no third-party software that collects usage data.

Purchases

The read-aloud recordings are a one-time purchase, sold only through Google Play, under Google’s privacy policy. The app only learns whether a purchase exists and stores that on the device. On start it asks Google Play for existing purchases so that bought recordings are available again after reinstalling. Nothing is sold in the web app.

Delivery of the web app

The web app and the website about the app (heilige-schrift-kinder.mignuti.com) are delivered on our behalf by Cloudflare, Inc. (San Francisco, USA) (Art. 28 GDPR). To deliver the files and fend off attacks, Cloudflare processes the IP address, requested address, time and browser identifier (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We have no access logs or statistics switched on and do not receive this data. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; standard contractual clauses apply in addition. The installed app contains all stories and loads nothing for reading.

Storage on the device (§ 25 TDDDG)

Storing the items above on the device is technically necessary to provide the requested features (keep reading, settings, bought recordings). Under § 25(2) no. 2 of the German TDDDG no consent is required for this.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection (Art. 15–18 and 21 GDPR). As we keep no accounts and receive no data from you, we usually cannot link anything to you. You can contact us at the address above at any time and complain to a data protection authority (Art. 77 GDPR).

Changes

If new features that process data are added (for example loading recordings), we will update this policy beforehand.
